Our Size Guide

bespoke wedding dresses

It would be a good idea to get someone to measure you and check over the measurements. Please note our made to measure dresses are none refundable so please make sure your order is correct at time of placement.

If in doubt or inbetween sizes then go up a measurement. It is easier for a seamstress to take in a dress rather than try to add some extra room. Corset backs are a great option as they offer some flexibility in sizing and support the dress structure.

Our Size Guide

Measure from hollow (hollow spot is at the front of the neck in between the collar bones) Standard dress length is 45 inches but remember if you have a petticoat underneath it can shorten the length by up to 2 inches.
If you would like a custom hollow to hem length please remember to add on 1-2″ for petticoat uplift.  Ensure you allow yourself enough time, in case the dress does need slight alterations.
For your bust measurement, measure around the fullest bust area and with a bra on.
Measure your waist at the slimmest part (it is around 2/3 inches above the belly button under the ribs.
Armhole and shoulders. Measure around your shoulder and under your arm pit, like a tank top line.
Shoulder measurement is one shoulder to another.
For dresses with sleeves measure the arm at the widest part of the upper arm. Cuff measure around the arm where you want the sleeve to finish. For sleeve length measure from the shoulder edge to where you want your sleeve to end.
